Dion Global Solutions is a trusted global financial technology company with expertise in building solutions for wealth management; retail trading and settlements; FATCA, CRS and other tax compliances; financial messaging and workflow; OTC derivatives; and GRC audit. With presence in over 17 cities across 12 countries for over two decades, we have built in-depth global fintech expertise to serve the specific and localised needs of financial services firms.

We have over 500 clients in more than 85 countries supported by a worldwide staff of nearly 500, including more than 250 in product development. Our solutions cater to the specific needs of investment, retail and commercial banking, institutional trading and investment and private client wealth management and stockbroking.

Maninder singh grewal

Non-Executive Chairman

Non-Executive Chairman of Dion's Board of Directors, Maninder has more than 30 years´ experience in the technology space. He joined Dion (formally Religare Technova Ltd) in 2006 and has been instrumental in its growth. Before Dion, Maninder worked with Wipro Infotech, a computer hardware and provider of IT services in India and the Middle East.

He was instrumental in setting up Ludhiana Stock Exchange / Securities by migrating the firm from manual to computerised trading. He has successfully implemented Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software on Solaris, Linux and Windows and has helped to computerise branches of State Bank of India, Punjab & Sind Bank and Bank of India.

Ralph James Horne

Non-Executive Director

A member of the board, Ralph has nearly twenty years of experience in the IT and Securities industries. Prior to the establishment of Dion, Ralph was the founder and CEO of Capital Market Solutions where he successfully expanded CMS´s footprint across Asia.

Ralph was also previously a member of the Board of Misys Securities Trading Systems and was Director of Operations in Asia Pacific. He was responsible for the companies´ operations in Australia, New Zealand, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Korea.

Ralph´s knowledge of the IT and securities industry has resulted in him being consulted on a number of industry initiatives and being invited to speak at several industry events across the region.

Vivek Agarwal

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Vivek Agarwal is the Global Head for Enterprise Verticals Solutions and Portfolio Companies for Tech Mahindra (TechM). He is responsible for creating a robust and differentiated portfolio of offerings for TechM clients in each vertical, and organic and in-organic investments for building capability. He also oversees TechM Portfolio Investments, including effective integration and realization of synergies and business objectives.

He has been with TechM since 2004, and took a 2 year sabbatical in between to create an early stage technology venture. He has been an integral part of Tech Mahindra’s journey over the last 12 years, leading and structuring some of the largest multi-year outsourcing deals and some of our marquee acquisitions. Previously, he was the Managing Director of Tech Mahindra’s European Telecom business. He has rich multi-functional experience and brings sharp commercial acumen.

Vivek pursued Bachelor of Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology from Ranchi and Post-Graduation from IIM, Kolkata

Balinder Singh Dhillon

Non-Executive Director

Balinder Singh Dhillon is associated with the Singh Group (RHC Holdings Pvt. Limited) in an executive capacity. As Group President – Corporate Governance, he has supervisory responsibility over the governance functions (Legal, Audit, Risk and Company Secretarial). As a member of the group senior management team he also develops and leads key strategic initiatives.

Having worked as counsel in practice and with corporate houses such as Hindustan Unilever Limited, INTRIA Items Inc., (a wholly owned subsidiary of CIBC Bank, Canada) and Fortis Healthcare Limited he has more than 23 years of experience in corporate law, governance, risk management, and strategic planning and implementation.

Balinder graduated from the Punjab University and is a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the Bar Council of India. He holds a Master of Laws degree from McGill University, Canada. As a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, he completed his accreditation under a Certificate of Qualification equivalent to a Graduate of Law through the Law Faculty, University of Toronto, Canada.

Balinder has in the past been associated with various corporate boards as a member.

Daljit Singh

Non-Executive Director

Daljit is the President of Fortis Healthcare Limited, the Chairman of Malar Hospitals, and a Director on the board of Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC. During his tenure of 12 years with Fortis, he has led the Company’s Projects Function, Strategy and Organizational Development Functions and has held the office of the Chief Executive Officer. He has over 40 years of rich management experience in the corporate sector. Prior to joining Fortis, Daljit was on the Board of Directors of ICI India, a subsidiary of the British Multinational, Imperial Chemicals Industry PLC, as the Executive Director.

Daljit is an acknowledged expert and thought leader in the domain of Healthcare Delivery. He has represented Fortis at Industry forums like the CII and FICCI and led several healthcare related committees. He is an active participant on the World Economic Forum platform and is on a number of Steering Boards constituted by the Forum to guide a number of major Global projects such as; “Scenarios for Sustainable Health Systems,” “The Healthy Living Charter,” and “Health Systems Leapfrogging.”

A graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Daljit was a Commonwealth Scholar to the Senior Management Programme at Manchester Business School.

Rashi Dhir

Independent Director

Mr. Rashi Dhir is a Senior Partner at DMD Advocates and heads the Firm’s Corporate and Tax Transactional Group. With 22 years of corporate and international transactional experience, he brings a unique blend of business thinking and strategy to structuring, negotiating and closing complex commercial and corporate transactions.

Rashi works as an advisory for various multi-national companies in areas pertaining to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments, asset management, project financing, corporate restructuring, structured investments, securitization, structured finance, capital markets and general corporate matters. He also works with his clients to create risk management systems, and legal and compliance infrastructures. Having worked for over 15 years in New York, Rashi’s transactional experience ranges over multiple jurisdictions, including United States, India, APAC, Europe and South America.

Rashi is an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, Boston, USA and an LL.B. from Delhi University, India. He is an active member of USIBC and co-chairs the Tax Committee of USIBC.

Vandana Nadig Nair

Independent Director

An Independent Director at Dion, Dr. Vandana has 23 years of work experience across teaching, Business HR roles and consulting. She completed her Ph.D. in Industrial / Organizational Psychology from Central Michigan University in year 1995.

A few years later, Dr. Vandana joined Hindustan Unilever Limited in the Human Resources function where she was responsible for introducing some innovative leadership development practices to help leaders understand their strengths and gaps. In 2000, she setup a niche firm, called CoCoon (www.cocoonconsulting.com), that designs and delivers strategic talent-related solutions. At CoCoon, Dr. Vandana has played a significant role in growing the leadership development practice.

In 2012, Dr. Vandana set up Phicus Social Solutions (www.phicus.org), a Section 8 company that focuses on helping social impact organizations, projects, programs and individuals grow and scale. At Phicus, she works closely with heads of social impact organizations in charting their growth roadmap, across sectors including education, HIV aids, anti-trafficking, a range of social enterprises as well as heads of foundations and CSR arms of corporates.

Amit Sethi

Independent Director

Amit Sethi is a 30 year veteran of the financial services, technology, outsourcing and consulting industries. During his career, Amit has worked globally across North America, Asia, and the Middle-East in various executive roles and as a management consultant.

Amit held a series of executive positions with companies such as Bank of America, Visa, KPMG, Oracle, and iGate in the US and co-founded 2 Silicon Valley start-ups. He also worked for HSBC and AF Ferguson in India. He is currently the Managing Director for a global payment services company, where he is responsible for the company’s business and corporate development activities in emerging markets and overseeing its captive software development centres in India.

Amit graduated from Delhi University, and is a Chartered Accountant and MBA from the University of Rochester, New York.

Michel is the Chief Executive Officer of Dion Global Solutions.

He has over 20 years of successful sales, consulting and management experience in the IT and Financial Services Industry. Prior to joining Dion, Michel was the Vice President for the Financial Services Industry at SAP for the Asia Pacific region. Previously, he was the Managing Director for the Financial Services Industry at Microsoft Enterprise & Partner Group, also in Asia Pacific.

Michel has worked with a number of global IT and consulting companies including IBM and Accenture. His international and regional experience across a variety of sales, design, implementation and operations roles gives him unique insight into the business and technology requirements of today’s financial institutions.

Nishtha is a performance driven professional with enriched experience in Human Resources management spanning talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, HR process & compliance. She is responsible for managing the HR function for Dion. Nishtha has rich experience in managing the entire gamut of HR functions including conceptualizing and effectuating measures / modifications in the operating procedures to optimize resource and manpower utilization and has hands-on-experience in formulating & implementing innovative HR systems and policies, conducting training programs towards enhancing employee productivity and building committed teams. Prior to Dion, Nishtha worked with Religare Enterprises Ltd and Kotak Life Insurance handling various aspects of the HR function. She holds an MBA degree in HR and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (Honors) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University, Delhi (India).

Andreas Wagner is the Chief Technology Officer of Dion Global Solutions.

Andreas is responsible for establishing the company’s technical vision and lead all aspects of the company’s technological development.

He has over three decades of software development experience with more than 25 years in the financial services domain. He has worked with technology companies like CSK software and Swissrisk GmbH. With his rich technical expertise, Andreas ensures that the company's technology strategy is aligned with its current and future business needs to give the organization a competitive edge.

Andreas holds a degree (cum laude) in computer sciences of the Technical University of Darmstadt/Germany and has professional training in informational engineering at IBM.
